Chronicle of the Week: Pierre Vincent Girardin
A small, discreet climat, not far from Les Tessons to the north and Les Tillets to the south, Meursault Les Casse-Têtes is reminiscent of the great Perrières itself.
Situated on the site of former stone quarries, the name of the lieu-dit evokes the hardness of its very thin, stony soil, rich in rock heads.
Domaine Pierre Girardin produces a very apt interpretation of this, nervous and mineral, with delicious aromas of honeysuckle, warm pebbles and hazelnut.
No owner owns more than 35 ares, so its production is extremely rare.
Congratulations to @pierrevincentgirardin for his exquisite, intense and harmonious interpretation of this Meursault Les Casse-Têtes 2020!
