Chronicle of the Week: Grand Blanc!

Located in Fuissé, in the southern part of the amphitheater, the lieu-dit “La Baudotte” is a sub-climate of the Premier Cru “Les Perrières”, wholly owned by Domaine Ferret.
Planted in 1972, 1973 and 1974, this 50-year-old single-vineyard Chardonnay rests on deep chalky clay soil.
Fermented and aged in barrel for 10 months, the wine is then “matured” in stainless steel tanks on lees for a further 9 months.
Many thanks to #domaineferret for their trust and loyalty!
