Weekend Tasting: “Domaine Kreydenweiss, Andlau porté haut”

Nestled at the foot of the Vosges mountains in the small medieval village of Andlau in the Bas-Rhin, Domaine Marc Kreydenweiss cultivates 13 hectares of biodynamically farmed vines.
A visionary and singular winemaker, Marc Kreydenweiss worked early on to produce great wines of place, far removed from the stereotypical varietal wines that still dominated Alsace winegrowing in the 1980s.
After solid Burgundy experience at the Pierre Morey estate in Meursault and the Jean-Louis Trapet estate in Gevrey-Chambertin, Marc’s son Antoine Kreydenweiss has been at the helm of the family domaine since 2007.
His enthusiastic, majestic wines, produced with absolute respect for the identity of each terroir, place his production among the most exciting in the region and far beyond.

Join us at the Boutique this Friday and Saturday to discover two of Antoine Kreydenweiss’s finest, most intense Alsatian gems:
DOMAINE MARC KREYDENWEISS | Alsace Grand Cru ” Wiebelsberg ” Riesling 2019
DOMAINE MARC KREYDENWEISS | Alsace Grand Cru ” Kastelberg ” Riesling 2019

“Biodynamics at Andlau with my father Marc has been going on since 1989, he’s one of the forerunners in France!” Antoine Kreydenweiss
