Weekend Tasting: “Domaine François Carillon, the great Chardonnays in unison”

Located in the heart of the Côte de Beaune, in Puligny-Montrachet, Domaine François Carillon is part of the Carillon family heritage, which has been cultivating vines in Burgundy since the 16th century.
Domaine François Carillon appeared on the Burgundy white wine scene in 2010, the result of the split of Domaine Louis Carillon between his two sons, Jacques and François.
Today, the estate covers over 16 hectares, mainly in Puligny-Montrachet, 90% of which is planted with Chardonnay, with the remainder divided equally between Aligoté and Pinot Noir.
The strength of Domaine Carillon has always been its hard work in the vineyard. In the cellar, François is a brilliant winemaker, a perfectionist with an eye for the smallest detail. The result is wines that combine finesse, vivacity and depth.
