By dint of hard work and perseverance, Domaine Duclaux has risen to the forefront of the Côte Rôtie scene with its elegant, racy wines.

Brothers Benjamin and David Duclaux are the proud ambassadors of this estate, created by their great-grandfather in the late 1920s. Rich with a magnificent heritage, they take great care of the 5.8 hectares of vines that make up the estate, which are literally “clinging” to the terraces of Côte Rôtie. The entire estate is cultivated by hand in the traditional way, and the ancestral walls that support the terraces where the vines are planted are restored each year to preserve optimal conditions for the grapes to develop. The gneiss terroirs here give birth to wines of finesse and character, combining balanced textures and aromatic depth. A magnificent expression of Côte Rôtie’s great potential.
